Killing the shadows.

Good evening, I said in my last review that I was going to read something different to get away from my usual thriller.  I had chosen Wicked by Jilly Cooper I read the first 250 pages of the 1000 odd and still there was absolutely nothing happening, so I have put it aside - very disappointed. I hate starting a book and not completing it but in this case there was nothing else for it.
I then picked up Val McDermid, "Killing the Shadows" now there is a book, it is honestly the best thriller I have read, forget the rest she is the best. It is very well written and never lets up from start to finish. I would recommend this to any thriller lover as a must read. The pace of the book never lets up, I could not get out of bed this morning trying to get to the end. Stuart even brought me a coffee to keep me going.
What to read next after that great yarn, think it will have to be another of Vals just to keep the pace going. Thats it for now so till next time keep reading.
                                  Love

                         Joan.

I put down a very disappointing book yesterday Joan, My SIL raved to me about it but I`m afraid I didn`t like the style of writing by the author. It was far too `wordy` but said nothing, I`m sure you know what I mean. :o(
